To whom it may concern:
My history of improving all aspects of a business from suppliers through
distributions proves I have the ability to make companies more competitive.
I have developed and tracked operational KPI for LEAN deployment
prioritization as well as training managers in the KPI to ensure the
improvement gains were sustained. I am hands-on in applying the LEAN
protocols from NIST-MEP (National Institute of Standards and Technology-
Manufacturing Extension Partnership). As a consultant as well as a manager
I have defined LEAN strategy and goals. I have deployed the strategy
through facilitating, project managing, and coaching shop floor personnel
and managers. I have been successful through leading by example in all
phases and tracking of the transformation.
My LEAN achievements include:
improving profitability with a plant wide labor efficiency gain of 35%
increased customer satisfaction by improving quality by more than a
magnitude
improving customer responsiveness by a reduction in pre-production lead
time from 28 to 5 days
Increasing cash flow by improving key raw material inventory turns from 4
to 27
Reducing business exposure to obsolete or damaged finished goods by
lowering specific finished goods inventory throughout the supply chain by
60%
Delighted a high tech Asian customer through faster order fulfillment by
creating a Singaporean- Lean Distribution/Customer Service Center which
supplied product via small lot Kanban at minimal risk and expense to the
company
These are the types of significant, creative gains that I have made in
implementing LEAN Transformations. I can lead, influence, and team with
others to create this same success. I would like the opportunity to
discuss how I could help make your company a more customer focused,
profitable enterprise.
Sincerely,
Michael F. Dieterich
