Manager over several software development and support teams. User and

technical liaison to Crawford and Company's largest customer. Directly

responsible for reducing insurance error processing rate (and federal

fines) from 18.6% down to .03%. Created stability for the processing of

Crawford and Company's two major legacy systems.

Verizon (formerly GTE, Contel, and Texocom - Distribution/Telecomm)

May 1983 to Jun 1991

Manager over Finance and then IT Departments. Rotated through all

departments as executive candidate. In IT responsible for user-liaison and

quality for a new customized legacy system. Later assumed additional

responsibilities for software maintenance, quality assurance, end-user

support, and data center. As each company was purchased, was responsible

for the merge of Texocom into Contel and then Contel into GTE.

Several positions from Payroll Clerk to Supervisor of Finance. Assisted in

implementation of new payroll package.
