EXPERIENCE:

1/07 to 2/10 Buzzi Unicem USA, River7000 Project - St. Louis, Missouri

Mechanical Engineering Manager. Lead mechanical team in developing,

planning, designing, and construction of the $300 million project, and give

support to plant start-up. Also provide technical assistance anywhere that

it is needed.

Major accomplishments:

. Directly supervised two mechanical and one structural engineer with 5 to

10 years experience; one is employee, the other two are consultant

engineers.

. Managed a maintenance group of 8 union maintenance technicians and

electricians.

. Developed and reviewed yearly goals/targets performance of team members.

. Negotiated contracts with vendors and outside contractors and monitored

their work.

. Directed and coordinated activities of contract engineering companies

during engineering studies and onsite construction contractors.

. Reviewed contract/proposal and checked invoice and time sheets of

contractors.

. Prepared preliminary design and cost estimates for the projects.

. Designed and installed a central compressed air system, consists of (6)

250 HP compressors, (2) 4,500 cfm dryers, receiving tanks and piping.

. Developed and implemented a project to install HVAC system for electrical

. Redesigned and modified Secondary Crushing System, the original

installation couldn't accommodate new process. Plant maintenance work is

significantly reduced.

Total Cost - $600,000.

. Reconfigured and redesigned dust collection piping which reduced

construction cost resulting in a saving of $300,000. Total Cost -

$900,000.

. Resolved mechanical problems during design, fabrication, and construction
