Mobile Phone Field Test

. RF testing of Mobile phone in the lab with CMU200(R&S)

and Agilent 8960, which included

GSM/GPRS/EGPRS/HSDPA/HSUPA mode. Communication tester

tests include PVT, ORFS, Frequency and Phase error, EVM,

IQ imbalance, throughput test of FTP and UDP, fading

test using CMU go script.

. KPI(Key performance Indicator) and ADAPT testing, RF

drive test for inter and intra band handover for CS/PS

calls with different modes, tests specification and

analysis of results from trace, which is taken using

Mobile Analyzer Tool and 3G Trace Tool.

. 3GPP audio measurement of instrument using Audio

analyzer- UPL 16 (R&S) include receive and sending

frequency response and loudness rating (RLR, SLR), ECHO

(near and far end )

. Testing of FM receiver and other functionality of Phone

using Phone Tool.

. Calibration of Instrument with the help of Calibration

Tool and Reference instrument (eg CMU 200)

MSC of CDMA WLL Based on 1X Technology:

(April/05 to Dec/07)

. Worked as a RF planner to establish RF network within

the city, of radius more than 35 KM including all types

of terrain like Dense Urban, Urban, Rural. Also worked

on RF planning tool from LG Tell - Air for this project.

. Installed 21 BTSs, which are Voice BTSs as well as EVDO

BTSs, 10 RF Repeaters and 5 OF Repeaters supplied by ZTE-

China.

. RF optimization of CDMA network for this project e.g.

neighbor cell planning, optimal power transmission, RF

drive tests and analysis of drive test result, where we

used the Drive Test Tool from Agilent Technology.

CDMA WLL System Based on IS-95 Technology:

(March/03 to Dec/04)

. Installed CDMA IS-95 BSC of 10,000 lines, also installed

BTSs and OF Repeater from Hyundai-Korea and its RF

equipment with Software configuration of BSC/BTSs.

. Worked as a RF Engineer for this project, which included

the VSWR measurement and improvement, RF optimization

for the better network coverage, RF drive test with

Drive Test Tool.

Broad Band Switch:

. Configured Hardware and Software of Broad Band Switches of different

capacities ranging from 48 lines to 1024 lines as well as configured Tire-

II switches based on ADSL technology with VLAN concept.
