marketing course by: (1) developing intra-university sports-marketing
teams; (2) contacting notables in sports and marketing; (3) planned
events and developed marketing campaigns; (4) provided research,
analysis, and recommendations of sports franchises, arenas, and leagues;
and (5) reviewed and evaluated textbooks to determine their suitability
for courses.
. Academic achievements include induction into the Sigma Beta Delta
International Honor Society and recipient of the William King Student-
Athlete Award for exemplifying sportsmanship, enthusiasm, teamwork and
leadership, along with academic achievement.
. Developed a fitness primer for pre-teens/teens called: At-home Workouts
for Future Athletes.
. Received various honors as a student-athlete at Long Island University
including: Most Valuable Player (2007 - 2008) and Team Captain (2007 -
2008 season). Other sports-related honors include: H.S. MVP (junior &
senior years); Team Captain; Three-year Letterman in Basketball; and 2004
McDonald's All-American Nominee.
