Goldmine
Collaborating with various business users & developers designed and
developed a service oriented, multithreaded data retrieval, transformation
and delivery system. The system uses C#, ASP.net, AJAX, XML, remoting and
web services. The application supports a common formula dictionary
implemented using C# that helped calculations to be consistent across
various reports and applications. This application is integrated with
active directory for role based security.
Security Master
Integrated Paladyne's ASP model security master with the existing
accounting system (VPM) and the order management system (Charles River)
using APIs of each system. The entire development is done using C#, web
services and Sql server. .Net reflection is used to create and load tables
corresponding to different security master objects and dynamically changing
the database schema.
FundReturns
This is a WPF application developed used using MVVM architecture. The
application is developed in C# and Sql server. This application calculates
the returns of individual funds as well as Fund Groups and provides side by
side comparisons of different funds.
Pricing
Supports the pricing system. It is a smart client application developed
using CAB. This application sends pricing requests to various vendors
including Bloomberg, Reuters, Markit, Houlihan Lokey and IDC based on the
preference set in the application. The application uses FTP and web
services to gather pricing information and uses SSIS to transform and
updates the pricing database.
Allocator
Redesigned as a smart client application using .net 2.0. The application
calculates and creates trade orders based on change in holding percentages,
quantity or dollar value and is propagated to Charles River order
management system. This application used infragistics controls for the UI.
Grouping Sheets
Developed a web based application for portfolio managers to perform
simulations and calculations. The application uses ASP.Net and AJAX in the
front end, C# web services in the middle and Sqlserver in the back end. It
calculates yield, spread, IRR etc using third party libraries (webcab). It
is integrated with Goldmine for data retrieval and reporting
