Compensation & Benefits Manager, February 2008 - February 2010

Responsible for the management and administration of defined contribution,

deferred compensation, and welfare plans and associated compliance issues

(audits, annual form 5500 preparation and associated Summary Annual

Reports, plan document revisions to comply with IRS or DOL changes and

associated Summary Plan Description revisions).

Additional:

Played a key role in the SAP HRIS implementation, responsible for the

benefit plans blueprint.

In 2008, developed and provided oversight of a transition to a new 401(k)

trustee/recordkeeper.

In 2008, implemented a wellness program using health risk assessments and

began annual health fairs.

Implemented high deductible health plans and health savings accounts

a Fortune 100 company. The Tempe, Arizona division is Medtronic's IC

Benefits Administrator, May 1984 to May 1997

As the largest division of Medtronic, I was responsible for benefit plan

administration, and served as the liaison between the division and

Corporate Headquarters in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

long-term disability plans, FMLA, FSA, 401(k), employee stock

purchase plan and defined benefit retirement plans.
