home entertainment and home

automation solutions to the end user. I work in-person with

the client and builders to sell and upgrade

them to the best solutions to meet their budgets.

LiteTouch, Inc - Salt Lake City, Utah

October 2006 - July 2009

Western Regional Sales Manager: Managed sales activity in the western

states. I

maintained my track record of increasing sales, expanding dealer base

and growing existing dealer

revenue by building brand loyalty and developing lasting client

relationships. Responsibilities also included

building the territory with local representatives and distributors.

Southern Regional Sales Manager: Managed sales activity in the southern

states. Responsible for company

representatives; as well and authorized installers and dealers to

insure their continual education and success in selling LiteTouch

products.

Corporate Training Manager: Responsible for monthly 3-day factory

trainings and all training curriculum and

content. I also managed certification courses, monthly training

webinars, trade show trainings, and

additional offsite trainings. I was responsible for the creation and

development of a new advanced certified

field technician training course as well as developing a monthly

training webinar program including guest

speakers and other professionals.

Senior Support Engineer: I provided excellent technical support for

Control4 products. I took escalated

calls, traveled to various job sites to assist with difficult

installs, and worked with our beta team to test new products and

accurately reported results from real world testing.

Technical Trainer: Provided training in the technical support department

as well as supported the regular training class.

Regional Sales Assistant: Traveled with Regional Managers to help

provide training and support in key

territories nationwide. Also helped to develop incentive programs

for larger retail customers.

Sales and Technical Trainer: Responsible for teaching particular home

automation topics including sales and

advanced courses in programming and integration of home

automation systems.

Solutions team: Found solutions to all complex programming

situations that were submitted to the solutions

team. This included advanced programs and AutoCad single-line

diagrams.

Convention manager: I was in charge of our 50ft X 50ft show booth

that travels to different Expo's around the

country. I created and coordinated training presentations. I

managed temporary workers and oversaw the

assembly and functionality of our media intense show booth.

Level 3 Support Engineer: I provided excellent technical support for

their lighting control system. I answered

questions, helped customers to program their system, assisted

in integrating their system for total home

control, taught technical portions of our monthly training

class, and even supported various large lighting

projects such as the LDS Salt Lake Temple and Larry Ellison's

yacht in Germany.

Test Engineer: I regularly setup equipment in test situations to

verify functionality and made

recommendations to improve our product. I also simulated

problems to determine causes of failures.

May 2000 - February 2003

Sales Manager: Managed a small sales team and developed creative ways

to promote home theater and

automation solutions. Worked closely with builders, designers,

and contractors to incorporate automation

into every home or business.
