training requirements for all employees. Special Accomplishments

included: a) development and administration of mini-corporate

university program "NeuroPathways" which provided a career track for

employees designed to build retention. Invited senior management staff

to serve as subject matter experts and instructors. Program offered in

three phases with minimum service time requirements. Successful

completion of each phase included attendance, participation, and

examinations resulting in title changes and salary enhancements; b)

revised state required crisis management training to be more pro-

active. Crisis Prevention and Intervention training focused on early

warning signs and environmental triggers to avoid the use of physical

interventions. State was impressed and now they are using the model I

developed; c) development, inclusion and instruction of new course into

the "NeuroPathways" curriculum on critical thinking. Level one defined

higher order thinking as well as how and when to use it; level two

focused on the difference between personal and professional ethics as

well as how and when to chose one over the other; and level three was

geared to supervisory staff and how to mentor critical thinking in

their direct reports.
