PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCES
Talon Communications (Jan’10 – March’10)
Hardware Engineer
• Circuit design and Board layout (EAGLE) of a electronic badge for health care workers.
• 6 layers PCB involves PIC, RF chip (2.4 G Zigbee), Battery charging circuit and couple of
sensors.
• Layout of RF circuit and PCB antenna.
• Gerber generation, Camming and assembly of the board.
• Integration and bringing up of the board.
Zigtron CA (Jan’09- Nov’09)
Jr. Hardware Engineer
• Patch Antenna design for 2.4 GHz ISM band. Analyzed different antenna patterns to get good axial
ratio and bandwidth. Vector Network Analyzer used for s-parameter evaluation.
• Schematic design and layout of small board incorporating CC2430 and peripherals to make
programmable Zigbee module.
• Programming of 8051 microcontroller core on the CC2430 Zigbee SoC using IAR workbench.
• Monitored transmission of the packets between the Zigbee modules using Packet sniffer application.
Qualcomm Inc. (May’08-Dec’08)
Bluetooth – Hardware Application (Intern)
• Debugged Bluetooth headset and Development Kit for its charging circuit issue, and also involved
in its Schematic Review.
• Designed Surf Daughter Card involving Qualcomm Bluetooth chip.
• Used Schematic capture tool Mentor graphics DA for capturing reference schematic of a daughter
card.
• IF performance testing of Bluetooth modules using Rhode-Schwarz CBT (Bluetooth Tester).
ADA Cell works Ltd. India (April’06-June’06)
As a Junior RF Engineer, I was responsible for planning and Optimization of GSM network.
Hutchison India Ltd. (Dec’05-Mar’06)
I worked as a Junior Engineer Trainee with leading GSM operator in India. I worked with BSS (Base
station Subsystem) team responsible for proper operation of Commercial GSM Network supporting more
than 2 million customers.
PROJECT WORK
QPSK Modem Simulation using Matlab
• QPSK transmitter included a modulator and shaping filters.
• AWGN channel was simulated by introducing Phase and Time delays.
• Receiver was made of demodulator followed by Timing and Phase recovery loops and Equalizer.
• Constellation and Eye diagram were used to verify the results at the receiver output.
RISC Processor
• Design of 32-bit RISC processor capable of executing more than 38 instructions. It has
been verified by 32 bit multiplication and division program in VHDL using Xilinx ISE pack and
simulated.
EDUCATION
• Master of Science in Electrical Engineering, San Diego State University, San Diego, CA.
• Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics & Communication, Dharmsinh Desai University, Nadiad,
India.
