protection and credit insurance offered to bank, oil and retail credit
cards accounts of Citi and to loan customers of CitiFinancial and Citibank
network. Citi is the largest administrator of credit cards in the US, with
over 9 million customers enrolled in debt protection and credit insurance
products spanning 17 bank portfolios and 15 different marketing channels.
Accomplishments:
Implementation of over 20 new varieties of financial service programs,
development of 12 test programs and channel expansion of existing
programs.
Product conversion of 2.7 million customers and another conversion of 2200
different credit insurance programs, administered by 5 different
administrators, to a new credit insurance program and computer system.
Process re-engineering of administration programs, with significant
improvements in infrastructure and efficiencies, saving an estimated $18
million in cost improvements.
Both hands-on responsibility for product lines and management of two
product managers for vertical markets in US and Canada.
In addition to product management of services administered by Citi, I
negotiated and coordinated insurance agency contracts with third party
