Internships and Academic Projects
• Motor Control
• Successfully designed and developed a stepper motor drive along with a closed loop voltage feedback
control, using TI LF2407 DSP. Developed the complete firmware for the drive in Assembly language.
• Developed an 8-bit microcontroller based drive to generate PWM pulses for a BLDC motor. Worked
on both the hardware design and the firmware. Optimized the design to achieve high torque with
minimum power dissipation.
• Real Time Control System
• Performed distributed simulation of a power system on Real Time Digital Simulator (RTDS) by
implementing communication between RTDS and NI cRIO processor over local area network using
LabVIEW and C#.
• Successfully, designed and implemented Real Time MFLNN Controller on a Bytronic process control unit
including flow and level controls using MATLAB and C++ as final year bachelor’s project at NSIT-Delhi.
• Successfully developed a programmable closed-loop temperature controller to uniformly raise and
lower the temperature of a water tank between user defined thresholds and with a user defined rate,
using an 8-bit Microcontroller.
• Implemented robust PID and adaptive controller designs using MATLAB and Simulink in course
projects.
• Computer Communication and Wireless Networks
• Successfully designed and implemented a Multi Client chat program, TFTP Server and HTTP Proxy Server
using socket programming in C and analysed high speed TCP variants like BIC, CUBIC, PERT and H-TCP
on NS-2.
• Developed an algorithm for optimal pre-fetching of data on Access Points in a vehicular Wi-Fi network.
• Internship at Honeywell Automation India Ltd.
• Designed a Distributed Control System (DCS) through Honeywell proprietary EXPERION PKS R300
software for Caustic Soda Plant. Designed control logic for filter sequences and assisted in preparation
of Hardware Design Manual (HDM)/(SDM) for the same.
Graduate Coursework
DSP Based Motion Control, Digital Signal Processing, Power Electronics, Motor Drive, Computer Relays,
Linear Control Theory, Robust Control Systems, Adaptive Control, Process Control, Computer
Communications and Networks, Wireless Sensors and Networks, Analysis of Algorithms.
