Program Director. Recruited by the Area Vice President for this leading

wound care management company to start-up and manage all aspects of a new

clinic located in Jellico Community Hospital, including implementing

marketing strategies that generate referrals, expand the patient base, and

increase clinic name recognition. Relocated to the Knoxville-based wound

care clinic in 2008 and then returned to Jellico location in January 2009.

. Call on physicians from numerous specialties on a monthly basis,

including internal medicine, primary care, OB/GYN, general surgery, and

oncology within a 30-mile radius of the clinic to market wound care

services, hyperbaric program, and to build a continuous patient

referral base.

. Successfully secured patient referrals from 40 physicians in TN and

KY (out of 85 possible physicians) which generated monthly charges of

up to $80,000 per month.

. Generate additional patient referrals by building relationships

with hospital case managers and

other hospital staff as

well as nursing home employees to educate them on wound care

treatment options, hyperbaric

medicine, and other

advanced wound care therapies for a wide range of patients.

. Perform in-services for physicians/office staff on wound care

treatment advances and hyperbaric oxygen program.

. Contributed to area achieving 118% above budget for total patient

treatments and revenues.

. Attend heath fairs and other community events to build awareness of

the clinic, to educate the public on hyperbaric wound care treatment,

and to generate self-referring patients.

. Work closely with Marketing Director to develop marketing materials,

implement radio and newspaper

advertising,

and to evaluate community sponsorship opportunities.

Human Resource Coordinator. Recruited by CEO of this long-term acute care

management company to manage all aspects of human resources for multi-

million dollars in contract business with three area hospitals (St. Mary's

Hospital, University of Tennessee and Fort Sanders).

. Hired as one of two Human Resource Coordinators and was assigned

responsibility for the St. Mary's and U.T. accounts, each with 33-bed

long-term acute care facilities; performed background checks on all new

patient care staff (nurses, case manager, administration coordinators,

respiratory therapists), conducted initial screening, coordinated

employee health screens and initial training, participated in employee

disciplinary actions.

. Served as a member of the leadership team for strategic

planning and Joint Commission preparation.
