I worked directly with clients in this consulting position. Installing

custom client-server and web applications on site at client businesses.

Position involved transferring data to new databases and custom

configuration of applications to fit clients' environments. I was also

responsible for daily maintenance of SQL databases. I also offered remote

support for these applications. Clients had to believe I was an employee

of the bank not a consultant. The bank offered to hire me away from my

employer after 3 months. I was flattered but felt a loyalty to the company

that had just hired me and had to decline.

I also designed, coded, tested, and deployed a web enabled cash management

system, part of the enterprise infrastructure of a major international bank

and including Automated Clearing House, Check Stop, Wire Transfer, and

Account Reporting protocols. Utilized server-side Java with J2EE, servlet,

and Struts on the client side with JDBC connections to the Oracle databases

and Apache web servers. Used extreme programming development methodology

with JUnit test development.
