February 2007 - Present

Human Resource Manager. Report directly to Executive Vice President of

Human Resources. Traveled to Iowa and Michigan plants as a strategic

business partner with senior management to drive key human resource

requirements and implement training, benefits, payroll, and performance

initiatives across the company. Direct human resource functions, including

recruitment, employee relations, hiring practices, payroll, benefits and

compensation.

. Managed the merging of policies and procedures and group medical and

dental plans during company mergers and acquisitions.

. Developed and managed the company's pre-employee screening program

which included drug testing and a tiered background check system.

during the company restructuring which included managing layoffs,

dislocated workers and WARN notices with the State of Minnesota and

Minnesota's Rapid Response Team. Presented cost of layoff, vacation payout

and employee demographic reports to senior management.

. Minimized liability in workers compensation due to company

. Assisted Old Home Foods in changing their payroll from ADP to a

smaller firm more suited to the reorganization and specifically chosen

Officer. Managed the day-to-day operations for Employment Planet which

included payroll, recruiting, minimizing company liability, employee

policies and procedures, hiring and firing and workers compensation. I

worked closely with the company attorneys to close the company doors.

Neighborhood House Assn., St. Paul, MN February 2001

to November 2003

Human Resource Manager. Reported directly to the center Director. Managed

the development and implementation of the agencies first HRIS database and

reporting system. (ADP's HR Profile and Report Smith) Processed payroll

with ADP including processing bi-weekly payroll, auditing payroll data,

payroll reports, and salary allocations being distributed to several

department codes, while ensuring compliance with state and federal labor

and payroll laws. Provided Human Resource support to all levels of

management, which includes employee relations, employee performance &

development communications, recruitment and hiring, sexual harassment,

discrimination and termination. Neighborhood House is a non-profit

community center which has several state, federal grant contracts which
