Steam & Water Treatment Plant Superintendent, Direct power
plant (oil-fired Ladd & CES Boilers) & water treatment
plant operations, directed power plant maintenance and
operations crews, coordinated outside contract work, and
performed all project engineering work. Responsible for 12
million-dollar renovation to Oil-Fired Riveted Drum main
boilers (1200 lb.), 1.2 million-dollar Turbo-generators
overhaul, and 3.5 million-dollar rebuild of line shaft
turbine Continually upgraded paper mill water treatment
integrated sand filtration plant and improved overall
efficiency. Brought in yearly Power Plant shut down under
budget and on time for the first time in many years.

Designed & implemented Coast Guard "SELF Inspection
Procedures." Participated in several periodic shipyard

pitch propeller overhaul, 16 million dollar cleaning of
main prop motor via C02 cleaning, 28 million-dollar
reautomation of entire power and auxiliary equipment with
TRISEN triple redundancy PLC based control system. Work

Turbine (1200 lb.) propelled oil tanker performing all
power plant & maintenance duties as Licensed Marine

Frame 12 Regenerative Gas Turbine Electric variable pitched
propelled oil tanker performing all operational and
maintenance duties aboard the power plant as Licensed
Marine Engineer.
