Analytical Labs. I am responsible for sample preparation and measurement on
several instruments (e.g. ICP/MS, AAS, GC) and for the quality of the data.
I am also responsible for writing Engineering Reports, preparing
presentations, and summarizing and drawing conclusions from the analytical
measurements. I have the following additional responsibilities;
- Communicating equipment maintenance needs and scheduled PM's.
- Developing and following practices and policies for sample
collection, analytical procedures and methods, including
identification of sampling plans for specific as well as non-
routine, evaluation tests.
- Developing and writing FMEA, OCAP, SOP and DMR (discrepant material
reports) documentation.
- Managing sample delivery, data approval, coordination of data
uploading into database systems for general distribution and
data/sample archiving.
