web/database, data-centric applications for various branches of the
military and the Department of
Defense (DOD)
. Involved with the complete software development life-cycle including
client interaction and maintenance

. Utilized a project-wide source code control system (SourceSafe)

. Diminishing Manufacturing Sources (DMS)
. Project was a government contract that dealt with the need of
obtaining discontinued parts for the
United States military running on Tomcat and IIS application servers
. Worked on various phases of this object-oriented, Java/Oracle web
application for 3.5 years
with the major role of Java developer implementing both GUI and web
service solutions
. Utilized specific J2EE technologies such as JSP, Servlets, and JDBC
using an MVC (Struts)
framework with the Eclipse IDE
. Helped design, modify, and write PL/SQL stored procedures for a
moderately-sized relational Oracle
database consisting of a few hundred tables
. Eventually became the technical lead on a particular module of this
project overseeing a small team of
about six junior-level developers and/or testers

. Project was a DOD contract that dealt with the need of organizing
various military resources both
at home and on the battlefield in real time running on Tomcat
application servers
