Description:
This Project involves the Data Migration of the existing Reinsurance
Systems SRI and RDPS into the new eTreaty system. The eTreaty system will
be a new treaty reference application intended to replace and expand the
functionality of the existing SRI, Treaty Search, and RDPS treaty databases
and related applications. Data Migration involves validating the
correctness of the existing data and a one time, complete migration of the
existing Data in the two systems SRI in SQL Server and RDPS (VSAM Extracts)
into the target eTreaty systems (DB2 Version 7.2). It involves complex
Datastage jobs to migrate the existing data to the new system. This system
migrates the data and provides a detailed AUDIT Report with successful and
rejected records and their counts during migration.

Prelude is a decision support system, which will serve as the basis for the
immediate need to support profitability calculation and KPI reporting, and
also be a regional repository of organizational information in the long
term. Prelude will be the profitability analysis database required to
identify value creation in PCA funds businesses across the region that
would help in consolidation and reporting against financial and non-
financial performance metrics for all levels of management and provide
drill-down analysis of key movements.
The Prelude system provides an automated and integrated process to
extract data from a number of operational systems and data files, transform
this data into meaningful information by applying business rules and
transformation logic Allocation of KPI's across dimensions using PL/SQL is
used. Based on the diverse allocation needs across different cost centers
and the system is flexible within a given framework to handle any kind of
new allocations that may come up in the future. This is then published in
report format through a browser based application, Informatica Power
Analyzer.

Description:
MayBank Unit trust system Berhad (MUTB) is a system developed to
efficiently manage operations for Unit Trust Products. May Bank Unit Trust
system was 3-tier Architecture. Presentation Layer was developed using Java
/ JSP and XML, Java Beans / EJB Container were used for the middle tier or
Business Logic layer with BEA Web logic platform 8.1 as application server.
Finally the backend part was done using Oracle 9i (Toad 7.0). The reports
are handled using Reports 6i. The whole MUTB transaction system follows the
4 i principle as the rule engine while saving, retrieving and updating
records. This product has an end-to-end integrated solution of unit trust
operations.
