drinks, cosmetics & toiletries, automobiles & trucks, fast food, and

government accounts. A versatile Creative Director who

provides vision, leadership and hands-on experience. Has held senior

positions at both general

market and multicultural advertising agencies. Excels at developing

creative strategies, new

product launches and is adapt at building long-term profitable client

relationships. Co-founded Lockhart & Pettus, which was once the nation's

third largest full-service minority-owned advertising agency.

2006 - 2007 Creative Director BRAND ARCHITECTURE INTERNATIONAL

BAI was a standalone brand consultancy unit of TBWA\CHIAT\DAY - New

York. It provided

strategic branding advice as well as creative solutions.

. Revitalized the Seagram's Gin "Urban Elegance" advertising

campaign.

. Brand Week names Seagram's Gin a "Top-10 Super Brand" in its

Spirits category

and designates Seagram's a "Mover & Shaker".

. Established the creative signature for all Seagram's Gin

brands.

. Lead creative efforts for all Seagram's Gin brands - Seagram's

Gin, Seagram's Twisted

Gin and Seagram's Gin & Juice.

. Lead brand development and launched Seagram's Distiller's

Reserve Gin, a Seagram's

line extension.

. Managed all internal and external creative teams assigned to

the Seagram's account.

. Oversaw all illustrators, retouching, mechanical development

and press production.

2005 - 2006 Creative Consultant BRAND ARCHITECTURE INTERNATIONAL

. Teamed with BAI's Strategy Director and Martell Cognac's

marketing team to establish

the brand strategy for the launch of Martell "Noblige" Cognac.

. Developed the creative strategy, positioning and campaign for

Noblige Cognac.

. As a result of the campaign, Noblige Cognac captured

incremental business from both

Hennessy and Courvoisier, and significantly surpassed pre-

launch goals.

. Oversaw photo shoots, retouching, mechanical development and

press production.

2004 - 2005 Freelance

1998 - 2004 SVP, Creative Director THE CHISHOLM-MINGO GROUP

Hired as a Creative Consultant to assist the Creative Director with

existing CMG business. In 2000,

joined the agency as an ACD, with responsibility for Denny's

Restaurants, General Motors and

GMC Trucks. And, in 2002 promoted to SVP, Creative Director.

. Increased billings from existing accounts - Denny's

Restaurants, General Motors,

GMC Trucks and Royal Caribbean International.

. Added another $20M in billings with new business wins from the

U.S. Postal Service,

Cablevision Optimum Online and Amtrak.

. Oversaw all internal and external creative teams. Direct

broadcast production, internal studio, and art buying.

Clients: Young & Rubicam, Stedman Graham, Inc., BBDO, Matlock &

Associates, A.P. Products.

1977 - 1997 Founder, EVP, ECD LOCKHART & PETTUS, INC.

Co-founded by an art director/writer team, Lockhart & Pettus was a

force in the African American advertising agency community, handling

clients like Chrysler, Pepsi, KFC, Panasonic and Carson Products. Its

reputation was built by the excellence of its creative, but it also

collected numerous

accolades for its marketing expertise. During the 80's and well into

the 90's, L&P was the nation's

third largest African American owned agency.

. Co-managed a $50M agency, built from the ground-up.

. Hands-on Creative Director who provided vision, leadership and

experience with new

product development, new business efforts and the building of

long-term client relationships.

. 19 year relationship with Carson Products Co., makers of Dark &

Lovely Products.

. Oversaw all creative services. Direct reports included print

art studio and art buyers.
