Vice President - Leasing

Reporting to the President, responsible for all commercial leasing activities

of 10 resort villages across the United States and Canada.

Led all critical lease negotiations with independent retailers, restaurant

owners and franchise representatives.

Increased portfolio occupancy to over 90% through implementation of a

creative leasing approach while reducing turnover through disciplined concept

selection.

Established relationships with realtors, brokers, contractors, trade

associations and financial institutions to facilitate the acquisition of

clients.

Negotiated external broker listing agreements to support internal leasing

Developed and implemented new reporting process meeting the requirements of

sale of the asset to a REIT.

Prepared and monitored annual budgets containing detailed leasing plan,

market rent analysis, revenue forecasts, operating expense forecasts, G&A

budgets and capital budgets.

Collaborated with the CEO and CFO during the re-structuring plan for of a

$110 million commercial partnership between Intrawest and a Real Estate

Income Trust.

Acquired extensive experience in all facets of the commercial property

management lifecycle ranging from master planning, leasing to property

management.

Developed and implemented a custom guest satisfaction survey distributed to

resort tenants to evaluate the quality of the property management services

offered by division.

Advised c-level executives in consulting engagements on issues ranging from

business strategy development, business case development, enterprise

application (ERP) selection to software implementation planning & project

oversight.

Participated in several enterprise application (ERP) planning engagements

involving the preparation of evaluation frameworks, business case development,

RFP development, demo preparation, contract negotiations assistance.

Developed the evaluation framework for the selection of a point-of-sale (POS)

software application of a large government agency. The project consisted of a

Reviewed the CRM / Call Centre project of one of the largest Canadian retailer

and recommended a revised, benefit-driven implementation strategy leading to a

higher and more rapid return on investment.

Conducted global industry-study for one of the top-three automotive original

chain collaboration and supply chain management for the automotive industry.
