Vice President- Store Planning and Design, 2004-2010
Direct all aspects of planning and design for over 50 major projects each
year including creating 30-35 new stores averaging 80,000 sq. ft. and
overseeing the expansion and renovation of an estimated 20 existing stores.
Play key role partnering with the Real Estate group in the selection of new
locations extending to conducting feasibility studies, property
assessments, and performing accurate analysis of area demographics.
Vice President- Construction & Facilities Management, 2002-2004
Held sole oversight for the budgeting and management of over $300M set
aside for construction of 140 new stores, 31 expansions, and 60 remodels of
existing stores. Exercised control over a further $100M for utilization on
additional corporate projects.
. Pioneered the establishment of a Facilities Management department
focused on devising and implementing a preventive maintenance program
for over 375 stores and diverse corporate properties.
Director of Construction, 1999-2002
Performed personnel needs analysis, conducted comprehensive interviews, and
selectively recruited a team of high performing project managers to
supervise all construction projects. Oversaw procurement of all
construction materials and building systems equipment including lighting,

60 stores spanning New Jersey, New York, the New York Metropolitan Area,

Merchandising Team, Store Management, Architects, Engineers, and other
consultants to ensure optimum coordination of project development.

Director of Planning, Construction & Facilities Management
Partnered with the company CEO to ascertain building design and
departmental space allocation to facilitate accurate development of block
plans, fixtures, and merchandising plans. Personally designed and planned
layouts of all interiors including creation of in-store specialty
destination shops and perimeter wall elevations. Additional management
duties covered the creation of schedules, status reporting, cost control,
and performance monitoring of all contractors to ensure compliance with all
project requirements. Led new store construction projects and the
renovation of existing stores with direct oversight over all external
contractors including Architects, Engineers, and other Consultants.
