builder. Built and managed a team of dedicated key employees,

subcontractors, vendors and consultants by fostering an interactive team

approach and developing and implementing systems to achieve company goals.

The position entailed responsibility for and direct involvement in all

company activities from project concept through completion, including

general business management, condominium owners association formation and

management, site evaluation, land purchase negotiation, community concept

design, project entitlement, project financing procurement, product

design, specification and customization, estimating, bidding and pricing,

model home and sales center presentation, marketing and advertising, sales

and customer service, permitting, construction scheduling and supervision

from site development through final inspection and warranty service

completion. Colony Builders established itself as a local leader in

responsible, environmentally sensitive, residential development by

carefully addressing the needs and requirements of the company, It's

clients, neighbors and various regulatory agencies, including the City of

The company successfully completed Preserve on the Rock Run, a 110

unit condominium community, Park Place on the Green, a 76 home affordable

senior condominium community and Citadel on the Rock Run, a 52 home

condominium community. The company also acquired and entitled Park Place

Square, a 78 home single family community and Central Park of Joliet, a 348

unit green townhome / condominium community.

Joliet Neighborhood Services and Building Department.

Fred Hintze Construction was a builder / developer involved as a general

contractor for light commercial, custom homes, room additions, kitchen and

bath remodeling and fire and tornado restoration and reconstruction. The

job entailed responsibility for all company activities including design,

specification, bidding and pricing, model and spec home design and

presentation, advertising, sales and customer service, permitting,

construction supervision from excavation through final punchlist and

warranty service completion. Worked closely with owners, architects,

inspectors, insurance adjusters, vendors and subcontractors. The company

developed single family subdivisions in Plainfield and Joliet.
