SUMMARY
Senior Network Engineer with fifteen plus years of
experience in the design, configuration and management
of Local and Wide Area Network with emphasis in
utilizing Cisco technologies with various industries,
including telecommunication, manufacturing, high tech,
banking and finance.
Twelve Plus years of experience with Financial companies like
Credit Suisse.
At Elanti Systems I have worked on design, implementation and
test of MPLS-TE (MPLS Traffic Engineering) in the BGP free
core. Implementation includes configuration of CE, PE and P
(provider) routers and creation of MPLS-TE tunnels.
While TE tunnels are running between the PEs, in the BGP free
core, the IP packets are label switched via LDP. IGP in the
MPLS core is OSPF or IS-IS.
Used OSPF in the MPLS network as IGP routing protocol in the
BGP free core network. In the same network I have configured
Cisco and Juniper routers, 7200 vxr and J4350 and used OSPF
for the MPLS-TE tunnels and also in Constraint-based SPF
calculation used OSPF between the Head and Tail end routers,
also in the MPLS-TE environment. OSPF (or ISIS) and RSVP
extensions are used for resource (BW) reservation/allocation
of LSPs between the source and destination PEs.
Installed OC12, OC3, T3, T1 and MetroEthernet Services in
support of Credit Suisse Market Data Services group (Equity,
Fixed Income and IBD) from providers like BT Radianz and
their low latency, sub-millisecond shared Infrastructure, for
the Multicast environment getting feeds from NYSE, NASDAQ,
SFTI, CME, etc.
Designed network architecture and configure, install, and
troubleshoot both LAN and WAN network devices. This includes
switches, routers, Cisco Wireless Controllers, access
points, carrier services and VOIP equipment at Company main
offices/Branches and Company Off-Site Events, all over US and
South America.
. Performed TIER 4, 24/7 support of the network operations
center (NOC)
. Contributed to the design review process, ensuring new
architectural designs would meet corporate standards.

Channel on Catalyst switches to make core switching
redundancy.
