Manager of the technical staff responsible for maintaining the nation-wide
backbone network. The backbone infrastructure was comprised of 70 plus IDNX
T1 nodes, 280 plus IBM 3745s, 3 VTAM mainframe host computers, and numerous
mainframe application host computers.

Manager responsible for the operation of the Network Control Center on
third shift which included the backbone network, tributary business group
network, and voice network. Responsible for managing the weekly network
change window which involved installing and upgrading network hardware and
software. Contributed to defining and testing network contingency and
disaster recovery plans.
