Email: ***********@*****.***

Objective: To excel in a Consulting or Project Management position where I

will apply the knowledge, skills, and experiences I have acquired

to contribute to the company's goals and objectives.

Work Experience:

Xroads Consulting. January 2010 - June 2010

. Assisted client in fixing resolute claims and professional

billing related issues.

. Evaluated workqueue structure while making recommendations and

changes to improve efficiency in workflows.

. Analyzed the claim masterfile edits to determine why there was

such a high volume of AR stuck in claim edit workqueues.

Identified and resolved all identified claim edit masterfile

issues. Reduced the number of accounts and the amount of money

(my fixes accounted for approximately 100k-200k released from

workqueues.

. Miscellaneous build items

Epic Systems Project Manager. October 2007 - October 2009

Position Summary:

. Certified in Hospital Billing, Professional Billing, HB Claims,

and PB Claims. I have experience with additional revenue cycle

applications as well.

. I was placed in this specialty as a result of my strong

quantitative, analytical, and problem solving skills required

for a technical specialty such as Claims and Billing.

. I successfully managed the implementation of three revenue cycle

billing and claim software installation projects.

. As a Hospital Billing and Professional Billing Claims Project

Manager, I possess one of the more challenging roles in the

implementation of a customer. There is not the typical

Application Coordinator and Application Manager structure that

many of the Epic applications have. I act in both roles and

ultimately am responsible for the success of the implementation.

. Another unique challenge that the Claims Project Manager faces

is that all of the upstream revenue cycle applications directly

affect the claims application. As a result, the Claims Project

Manager has increased responsibility to work with all other

applications to ensure that the decisions made, workflows

designed, processes implemented, and the data entered all

combine to achieve the desired result on the claim.

. The Claims Project Manager ultimately is an overseer of the

entire revenue cycle application install and often pulls other

application teams together to evaluate an issue and arrive at a

decision that best uses the technology and resources available.

Daily Operations, Duties, and Skills

. Manage projects, process, people, and the product to ensure my

customers get the best results from the use of our software.

. I create and execute project work plans and revise them as

appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements of the

software implementation.

. I identify resources needed and assign individual

responsibilities. I also oversee individual budgets in my

assigned application as well as managing the budget for my

application throughout the install.

. As a Claims project manager, I not only managed the resources

required for completion of the project, but also am involved in

daily technical aspects of the design, build, and testing of the

software. This includes modification and customization of the

software for the clients.

. The configuring of the software is a result of information

gathered from various business office resources. Once the data

is gathered, I analyze the data to determine how to configure

the system given the requirements at hand. At that time, I

present a solution to the business office experts. Upon signoff

from management or the billing expert, I configure the system

accordingly and the functionality is tested. Documentation and

communication of the issue resolution to the appropriate team

members are important steps in the implementation process.

. Just as important as my technical abilities are the use of my

softer skills such as the ability to communicate in a timely and

concise fashion, strong documentation and reporting skills, and

a personality that encourages a team atmosphere and strong

communication. This skill set is carefully balanced with an

ability to organize and remind those around them of the tasks

that they are accountable for.

Environment: Cache, GUI, Microsoft Excel, Visio, Project,

OneNote, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Live Meeting, Unix, Imports,

FTP, Reflection, VPN.

Easy Mortgage Company. January 2005 - August 2007

. Helped start and structure the company, along with the current

owner, and perform general management duties.

. Assisted in all aspects of licensing and hiring and have used my

marketing and entrepreneurial skills to grow the company from

two employees to 25 employees.

. Developed successful working relationships with lenders, title

companies and appraisers.

. Employed my relationship selling skills and consultative

abilities, along with my financial knowledge, to inquire,

evaluate, consult and ultimately advise clients on courses of

action wherein the clients' financial condition was improved

with the right mortgage.

UnumProvident Employee Benefit Consultant. May 2002 - November

2004

. Acted as the face of the company for a national employee

benefits firm to brokers and companies across Wisconsin.

. Developed relationships with brokerage firms and used

consultative selling skills to persuade them to select

UnumProvident and its financial products for their clients'

employee benefit needs.

. Presented the financial benefits of using UnumProvident to

brokers, human resource departments, CEOs, CFOs and boards of

directors. Promoted all intangible aspects of the UnumProvident

trademark.

. Developed my territory, broker relationships and client

relationships. Handled account and expense management, created

and delivered marketing plans and achieved the level of

profitability desired for my designated market.

Education: University of Wisconsin - Madison

( Bachelor of Business Administration: Triple Major - Marketing,

Management and Human Resources

( GPA 3.4 on a 4.0 scale

( Graduated from the School of Business in May of 2002.

Community Services and Activities:

( Active member of the Greater Madison Area Chamber of Commerce.

( Co-founder of the University of Wisconsin Badgers Baseball

team, where I helped organize the team, recruit players, raise

money, set schedules and run practices. I was voted team captain

while playing on the team and served as the head coach for the

2001 - 2002 season prior to moving to Milwaukee and have become

head assistant upon returning to Madison. We have made the NCBA

now have established three levels of teams, where the varsity

level team prepares for the season by attending multiple spring

training tournaments and have become a perennial NCBA World Series

Contender.
