CAREER OBJECTIVE
I am seeking a position which will enable me to utilize my skills,
education, training, and experience in the area of scheduling. I was
fortunate enough to be able to accept a voluntary buyout and early
retirement from Ford Motor Co. on February 28, 2007.

2/10 to Present: International Automotive Corporation
Huron, Ohio
Materials Administrator / Customer Service
Duties - Purchasing of all bulk and raw materials for Tier 1 automotive
supplier. Responsibilities include (but are not limited to) preparation of
weekly releases to over 20 suppliers, creating weekly delivery schedule for
railcars, tankers, and tractor-trailers, management of inventory levels,
proficiency in the use of MRP system and all Microsoft Office operations,
interfacing with suppliers and facility personnel to insure maximum
efficiency, as well as development of warehouse management system using
min/max structure and visual factory. All facets of effective Customer
Service utilized on a daily basis.
2/08 to 11/09: Director of Residential Services, Stella Maris, Inc.
Cleveland, Ohio
Duties - Manage residential programs and services at substance abuse
rehabilitation facility. Responsibilities Include contract adherence,
participation in grant writing, direct supervision of employees, working
with medical and clinical staff to develop an effective continuum (from
intake screening to job readiness and job search during re-entry phase),
analysis of agency processes (includes medical detoxification, clinical and
residential treatment), hiring of employees, overseeing admissions, record
keeping, marketing the program and our clients to referral sources and
employers, and developing and implementing new processes.. I left the
position due to reduction in Cuyahoga County funding.
4/07 to 2/08: Program Manager, Northern Ohio Recovery Association
Cleveland, Ohio
Program Manager of a federally subsidized (RCSP SAMHSA Grant) multi-county
agency (Cuyahoga, Summit, and Lorain Counties) offering peer-driven
services to individuals and families seeking recovery from substance abuse
and mental health issues. Duties included, but were not limited to: hiring
staff, securing facilities, interfacing with community service providers
(Mental Health/ AOD Boards and local agencies) to assess community needs,
developing programs structured to meet specific needs in the community,
training volunteers and staff, record keeping, preparation of Quarterly
Reports for SAMHSA and congressional review, gathering and interpreting
GPRA data, participation in grant and proposal writing, use of Microsoft
Office tools, daily supervision of staff, record keeping, and overseeing
continuous improvement programs for the agency in all three counties.
9/94 to 2/07: Ford Motor Company
6/05 to 2/07 Material Control Supervisor, Brownstown PRC

Duties - Supervised 60 hourly employees in Sheet Metal Dept. Oversaw
packaging and shipment of sheet metal service parts to dealerships and
depots in N. America. Responsible for daily manpower planning, payroll,
employee relations, process development and implementation, ISO compliance,
as well as continuous improvement in the areas of safety, quality,
delivery, cost, morale, and environmental concerns. Six-Sigma Greenbelt.
Reduced downtime over 80% and lost time due to injury over 60%, resulting
in $7 million reduction in Direct Labor costs in 2006. Introduced
Continuous Improvement Workgroup team-concept to this facility and trained
the hourly employees in the concept. Proficient in Microsoft Office
operations.

6/03 to 6/05 Paint Supervisor, Ohio Assembly Plant
Avon Lake, Ohio
Duties - Supervised 40 hourly employees in Econoline paint operations.
Responsible for continuous improvement in the areas of cost, quality,
safety, delivery, and morale, as well as facilitation of a Continuous
improvement Work Group utilizing the Ford Production System. Six Sigma
Greenbelt. Responsible for ISO compliance and audits, problem solvimg
(Fishbone, 5 WHY tools) daily manpower planning and payroll, employee
relations, and budget adherence. Interacted with customers and vendors each
day.

6/01 to 6/03 Carbon Cannister Supervisor/ Production Scheduler,
Sandusky Ford Plant
Duties - Supervised 45 hourly employees in the Carbon Cannister Assemly and
Injection Molding areas, which encompassed 11 Engle injection molding
machines and the MicroLine Lean Manufacturing area. Responsibilities
included attaining continuous cycle time improvement, reduction of
overtime, facilitation of Ford Production System work group, ISO compliance
and scheduling of production for Carbon Cannister Molding and Air Cleaner
Molding departments utilizing CMMS, adherence to budget, employee
relations, daily manpower planning and payroll.

9/94 to 6/01 Auto Cycle Technician, Sandusky Ford
Plant

Duties - Assemble and leak test carbon canister assemblies for all of Fords
North American vehicles. Utilized SPC and precision measuring instruments
such as micrometers and calipers. Member of numerous cross-functional
teams.
4/82 to 9/94 Extruder Operator, Sandusky Plastics
Inc.
Sandusky, Ohio
Duties - Responsible for the extrusion of plastic sheet (within specified
tolerance) to be thermoformed into cups and horticulture trays. Used SPC
and micrometers to insure quality metrics were attained.
