Nutritional Division - Dubai, United Arab Emirates - Managed a 4-man team
responsible for forecasting $200MM inventory & shipments to 4 plants
serving 15 countries.
. Phase-in/out of 4 major SIMILAC (infant formula) campaigns over a 10
year period by working closely with plants & regulatory ensuring all
materials were perfectly aligned with marketing expectations and
regulatory requirements.
. Worked with business excellence Manager to develop concept and
implement S&OP meetings for 15 countries within a 24-month
forecasting horizon.
. A 30% improvement in forecast accuracy within 6 months of first S&OP.
. Initiated and ran demand and forecast reviews at major hospitals
resulting in sales increases of 25% in Year 1 and in some cases forced
out competition
. Led on-site demand reviews at major hospitals on a quarterly basis and
distributors every 6 months followed up by purchase orders vs

. Presidential Inventory Control and Forecasting Award: Reduced
inventory at Saudi distributor from $53MM stock (300 days) to $13MM
(120 days) with zero negative impact on stocks.
