Software Engineer

Project:

Cordys delivers a single platform which allows organizations to design,

execute, monitor, change and continuously optimize their critical business

processes and operations. BPMS is one of the main components of the Cordys

Business Operations Platform. Cordys Business Process Management Suite

(BPMS) puts business in direct control of their processes, resulting in

tangible benefits for both business and IT. Cordys BPMS provides

environment to create business processes, validate, execute, debug, monitor

and also archive them.

The BPM design time representation is stored in BPMN 1.0 format. The

execution language for Cordys BPM is BPML. Building of the BPML is based on

the BPMN using a very complex algorithm and the BPM Engine executes the

BPM. I have also worked on WSDL generation from a Business Process,

providing implementation to Contract WSDL through Business Process.

I worked for internationalizing the Business Process Runtime View. I have

gained expertise in generating the BPML from a BPM with rules, Web Services

and tasks(Cordys Xforms).

Responsibilities:

. Worked on XML web services for the backend operations like storage and

update of BPMN, BPML, generation of BPML, validation and execution

operations.

. Worked on building the BPML(XML Representation) based on BPMN. The BPML

generation is based on a complex tree based depth first search algorithm.

. WSDL creation, WSDL Parsing

. Handled UI for message mapping which involves in displaying the WSDL

messages where mapping can be done(providing values to the message

elements for webservice execution etc.)

. Handled some parts of BPM Engine which executes the Business processes

. Used soap UI tool for unit test the developed webservices

. Worked on Cordys Internal SOAPMethod test tool UI which parses the WSDL

displays the SOAPRequest and sends it to the respective SOAP Processor

and fetches and displays the Response.

. Worked on Composite Application Logging. A frame worked was developed and

my responsibility was to use it to log different messages along with the

NDC at different stages of BPM execution.

. Worked in the WSDL Standardization project where all the Cordys WSDL's

were made basic profile compliant.

. Worked on generating webservices on BPM's in which when the webservice is

executed the respective BPM is executed which includes wsdl creation.

. Worked on Contract First Development in which Contracts are prepared

first and the implementation for the contracts are given using BPM.

. Worked on integrating the BPM with workflow component which has Cordys

Inbox where the tasks and notifications need to be sent from the BPM

based on the input and output of BPM.

Claims Demo

. Claims demo is an application of automated Insurance claim process using

Cordys BPM.

. It covers the complete cycle of claims processing starting from submit

the claims to closing the policy.

. The application also gives an overview of the Insurance Claim process

using BAM by monitoring the BPM's.
