Role: Business System Analyst

Environment: Windows XP, Web based application.

RITE AID Corporation is one of the nation's leading drugstore chains.

Rite Aid sells prescription and non prescription drugs as well as front end

products. The project was document sharing. Which is access based version

control system. Document sharing facility is used to share, publish organize

documents, spreadsheet and presentation.

Responsibilities

• Reviewed business process Functional requirements.

• Worked closely with end users and stakeholders to develop a detailed

understanding of the requirements and prepared a comprehensive set of

documents to define the specification and business value of the system.

• Work with the development team to ensure that functional specifications

are understood.

• Assisted in process modeling, conducted and participated in JAD sessions

with system users,helped with design walkthroughs with stakeholders for

base lining architecture.

• Designed Use Case Models after understanding scope of the project and

the business model.

• Designed and developed Use cases, Activity diagrams, and sequence

the system processes data related to Insurance Business. The organization has different

schemes of insurance of individual like Long Term Life Insurance and Disability

Insurance. The focus was on attracting customers from different parts of the country .The

customers can select the insurance plan available from a help assistance which guides

them to choose the best plan.

Responsibilities

• Developed prototype of new information processing application.

• Collect functional requirements and prepared business requirements documents.

• Designed and developed Use cases,Flow charts and Sequence Diagrams.

• Aided management in standardizing web applications by preparing GUI standards and

recommending alternatives for incorporation in phased iterative manner.

application to ensure accuracy, consistency and performance .

• Interacted with developers and business analyst to clarify design

specifications and to address defect resolution.
