o Modeled and simulated the micro VCM using Maxwell electrostatic solver to
calculate the phase capacitances of the machine and to investigate the
capacitance and torque profiles of the machine for different geometries.
o Developed analytical model of the micro VCM along with its drive
electronics using Simulink. Modeled the phase capacitance of the machine
using various methods to predict the complete dynamic performance of the
micro VCM. Successfully maximized the torque/voltage of the machine by
optimizing the conduction angles of the drive electronics.
