PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
NVIDIA CORP., Santa Clara, CA
NVIDIA Corp. is a video solutions company that provides both hardware and
software to solve the world's most complex visual challenges. They produce
GPU's and provide the software needed to support these products.
GPU Hardware Engineer
2007-2008
Hardware engineer responsible for ASIC design and testing. Became
extremely familiar with large scale testing for unit-level and full-chip
simulations. Directly in charge of producing test plans for new
technologies and creating and debugging tests listed in those test plans.
Responsible for unit level testing and design of the Consumer Electronic
Control (CEC) hardware on the newest GPU's. Debugged using various test
bench stimuli and wave viewers such as Verdi to locate and correct bugs
as quickly as possible. Used a RTOS to schedule and respond to requests
sent by the hardware. Programmed the BIOS for the display hardware to
change settings during boot-up. Wrote RTL code for unit level and full-
chip hardware.
. Hardware Engineering Intern - Responsible for encoding and decoding
video formats supported by the GPU, summer 2006.
. Hardware Engineering Intern - Basic small-scale, component level
design testing. Encoding and decoding of the DXVA video codec, summer
2005.
PANDUIT CORP., Tinley Park, IL
Panduit Corp. is a manufacturing company that produces wiring and
communication products. They provide solutions to help optimized physical
infrastructure and increase efficiency.
Electrical Engineering Intern
Summer 2004
Worked with a team of engineers to provide support for manufacturing
infrastructure via plant engineering. Supported and designed machines
using Allen Bradley PLC's to interface with other components such as
stepping motors and relays to produce manufacturing machines. Entered
electrical schematics into a database using AutoCAD.
