Electrical Project Engineer, Control Systems

. Responsible for the overall electrical engineering content

on material handling projects.

. Interfaced with sales, project management, purchasing,

mechanical engineering, panel fabrication shop, skilled

trades and field wiring contractors to coordinate project

completion within schedule and budget.

. Met with customer to clarify and resolve any issues

regarding the project scope of work.

. Instituted any requirements that were necessary to ensure

that the scope of work was met.

. Designed hardware utilizing AutoCad. PLCs and HMIs

consisted of Allen Bradley PLC3s, PLC5s, SLC500s, and

Panelviews.

. Designed software for projects. Software consisted of

RSLogix5, RSLogix500 and PanelBuilder.

. Provided direction to control engineers doing design on the

project.

. Checked electrical schematics and PLC programs for accuracy

and completeness.

. Position also involved compiling estimates for projects

that were being bid. Utilized Excel to prepare estimates

and Word to prepare proposals.

automation and material handling.

to determine project budget, schedule and electrical

specify components for equipment manufacture.

. Designed control logic and developed Human Machine

Interface for systems.

. Tested and debugged systems after manufacturing was

complete.
