PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
AlphaFlex3D. Flushing, MI
4/2002 - Present
Sale/Marketing Manager
My primary duty is the marketing and sales aspects of the business. I am
able to direct sell by working one on one with the customer. A majority of
the business is selecting the best hardware/software or programming
required to update or maintain the existing hardware. With my vast
experience dealing with the daily business functions, I am able to
efficiently work on the computer systems and networks that have performance
issues. I have given the customer the service they deserve and custom fit
their problems into solutions.
Flo-Flex Systems. Auburn Hills, MI
3/2000-12/2001
Project Manager & Sales Engineer
When I came to this company they were a "Tier 1" company that was on the
fast track to failing. With slow delivery times, designing flaws and poor
communications I stepped in and reorganized the way they did business. I
was able to resurrect this company from non- existence and bring it back
into the game. The communication process began with a series of meetings
with the OEM's Project Manager or Project Engineers. I then re-organized
the shop personal with tools they needed to succeed which was training and
direction. I designed using CAD programming to improve the way the finished
product should look to the specifications of the customers. I saved money
and time by restructuring the inventory and purchasing system which
improved the overall delivery dates. I maintained the communications with
the customers, shop and office personnel and business went to the next
level.
CE Engineering INC., Flint, MI
1987 - 2000
Business & Sales Manager
I started at the bottom of the ladder at CE Engineering, selling of fluid
power components, hydraulic and pneumatic controls. I sold annual sales of
approximately $1.2 million and I managed 120 industrial accounts. By
working with OEM accounts this posed unique challenges as our customers
built equipment that is used in a variety of factories. The majority of our
customers built automotive manufacturing equipment or material handling
systems for GM, Ford, Chrysler, and their suppliers. As a Sales Manager I
also implemented a training seminar for the factory maintenance personal
giving customer service they were unaccustomed to.
Apart from CE distribution business they also manufactured electronically
controlled hydrostatic power units. My role consisted of engineering and
technical sales for these systems. This was accomplished by working with
OEM and the end users engineers and process personal, to develop the
systems specifications, requirements, along with a plan for its design and
implementation.
One of the major projects I managed was the design, layout and installation
of control panels for Fabricating Engineers complete conveyor system at the
Flint Truck and Bus Assembly Plant. I also sold units to other major
companies such as Dow Chemical and Sweatheart Plastics.
