phones, entering timesheets and bills into QuickBooks. I also prepared invoices

each month through QuickBooks. I also handled travel arrangements for the

President of the company and assisted with other projects as needed.

7/07 to present Amarello & Webb, PA. Proofreader. Dr. Amarello conducts educational,

neurological and psychological testing. Each client receives three reports during

the course of their testing – an Initial report, a Testing Data Summary document

and their Evaluation. I proofread, edit and format these reports for Dr. Amarello

prior to them being distributed to the client. All of these reports are prepared in

Microsoft Word 2007.

7/02 to 4/04 Fidelity National Financial, Inc. Claims Administrator, Claims Secretary, Legal

Department. As Claims Secretary, I was responsible for all secretarial work for 3

Claims Attorneys, including typing, filing, managing their calendars, file

maintenance, answering phones, etc. As Claims Administrator, I was the first

contact customers had with the company when submitting a claim, whether by

phone or by letter. Once a claim was received I was responsible for obtaining the

proper files from the branch offices, setting up the initial file and having it assigned

to a claims attorney within the deadlines set by the Department of Insurance. I

needed to be able to interact with the customers and the branch offices, as well as

our legal teams in Irvine and Arizona, Texas and New York. I also assisted the

litigation department with overflow work as needed and would cover additional

Claims Secretaries’ desks when they were out. MS Windows, WordPerfect, MS

Word, MS Outlook, MS Excel, FNF’s customized claims management program.

2/97 to 12/98 King & Associates. Contracted Computer Trainer. Taught on-site computer

training courses. MS Windows, WordPerfect, MS Word, MS Outlook and other e-

mail applications, PCDocs and other document management applications. Assisted

in setting up macros and procedures in companies implementing new computer

systems. Trained staff and attorneys on new computer systems.

7/87 to 10/96 Fidelity National Title Insurance Company. Network Administrator, Legal

Department (12/92 - 10/96). Researched, implemented and managed new network

for 50 person department. Novell, WordPerfect, PCDocs, e-mail, legal library on

CD-ROM, dial-up access for attorneys working remotely, and so on. Began with

DOS network and later implemented Windows network. Organized and taught

computer training classes to staff and attorneys on use of and procedures for

computers. Maintained computers for department. Worked closely with claims

accounting department to implement procedures for claims processing and to

develop software for use in-house for processing and managing claims (Paradox).

Managed computers for 15 person satellite office in Walnut Creek. Assisted in

management of offices in New York and Texas.

Special Projects (7/89 to 10/96). Continuing Education Coordinator. Established

in-house continuing education training classes for attorneys. Established FNTIC

as a continuing education provider. Was responsible for providing monthly

seminars to help attorneys complete continuing education requirements. Records

Management, Legal Department. Created procedures for maintenance and storage

of active and closed legal files. Hired and supervised file clerk. Supervised move of

closed legal files from one warehouse to another, on two separate occasions.

Legal Library Maintenance. Responsible for evaluating new and current legal

books for inclusion in on-site legal library. Maintained updates to keep books

current. Met with vendors to regularly evaluate and maintain the library. Move

Supervision/Logistics Coordination. Legal Department (50+ people) moved from

one building to another. I was responsible for overseeing packing, labeling, moving

and unpacking of all files, books, office furniture and computers. Worked closely

with movers to ensure everything ended up in the correct office and desks, and so

on, were properly placed in offices. Responsible for setting up all computers after

the move.

Executive Secretary to Executive Vice President/General Counsel and Office

Manager, Legal Department (7/89 to 5/91). Maintained legal library. Responsible

for all secretarial duties for Executive Vice President, including calendaring, travel

arrangements, typing, phones, and so on. Corporate law (acquisitions, SEC filings,

mergers). As Office Manager, I was responsible for hiring secretaries, receptionists

and clerks and administering reviews and disciplinary meetings. I maintained all

supplies, scheduled relief for receptionist, assisted secretaries with overflow relief

and other managerial duties. Received Circle of Excellence Award (1990) for

Corporate Office secretarial staff. Notary.

Executive/Legal Secretary, Secretary to the Executive Vice President/General

Counsel over the Legal Department and to the Chief Litigation Attorney (1/88 to

3/89). Civil litigation (real estate), corporate law (acquisitions, SEC filings,

mergers), underwriting. Typing, answering phones, general secretarial duties,

responsible for the calendar for the 14 attorneys in the department, overseeing

general work production and work distribution for 5 other secretaries. Maintained

legal library. Word processing - WordPerfect. Also responsible for general training

of secretaries and computer troubleshooting. Notary.

Legal Secretary (7/87 to 1/88). Civil litigation (real estate), underwriting. Typing,

answering phones, maintained legal library. WordPerfect . In November, 1987 the

department lost all 3 legal secretaries. I was responsible for 6 attorneys (3 claims

attorneys and 3 litigation attorneys), I had between 1-3 temporary secretaries

under my supervision until permanent secretaries were hired. Notary.
