Lead Planner/Scheduler of a "schedule recovery team" for the Front End
Engineering and Design (FEED) of the Halobutlyl Unit of the Kemya Rubber
Plant located in Jubail, Saudi Arabia. Completed a full analysis of the
existing FEED Schedule to determine where improvements could be made for
utilizing the schedule to the fullest potential. Developed a new
schedule based on this analysis and implemented said schedule for the
completion of FEED. Responsible for the development and maintenance of
the FEED schedule for the MTBE Decomposition Unit, a sub project to the
Halobutyl Unit. Developed and maintained EPC schedules as FEED
deliverables for both units. Developed and managed the generation of
schedule documentation such as forecast/actual dates, baseline/target
dates, variances, milestones, float, resource curves and lookaheads.
Maintained schedules within a multi-user P6 database and managed said
database as P6 Subject Matter Expert (SME) at the overall program level.
Lead Planner/Scheduler, BP - San Juan Coalbed Methane Project, January
2009 - June 2009
Lead Planner / Scheduler on a "recovery team" which was organized to
analyze the existing EPC schedule for a multi-billion dollar upstream
project consisting of several hundred natural gas wells and pipelines
located in the San Juan Basin outside of Durango, Colorado. Developed a
new, more manageable schedule for the completion of the home office
engineering and procurement phases of the project. Transitioned onto the
existing project controls team as EPC scheduler. Responsibilities
included, working in parallel with the on-site construction team to
develop an EPC baseline schedule and manage said schedule to provide
routine and accurate client / project management reports. Provided
information such as milestone reports, variance reports, areas for
improvements, resource curves and lookahead schedules. Managed a multi-
user P6 database to meet the requirements of an integrated EPC project
schedule.
Lead Planner/Scheduler, PCOSI - Fort Hills Project, February 2008 -
December 2008
Lead Planner/Scheduler for the sulphur unit of a multi-billion dollar Oil
Sands project located in Alberta, Canada. Responsibilities included the
development and maintenance of the front end design portion of the
schedule, integration into an overall program of said schedule to meet
specific client requirements, regular interaction with project team
members to ensure project deliverables are met on time and in accordance
with the schedule, the generation of detailed schedules and reports to
provide schedule data for project team members and management on a
regular basis, and heavy involvement in the development of the EPC
portion of the schedule to effectively utilize a P6 database with
multiple users and meet the requirements of an integrated schedule.
PMT Planner/Scheduler, Bechtel /Jacobs Joint Venture, Motiva - CEP
Project, February 2007 - January 2008
Held a key position on the Project Management Team (PMT) as a
planner/scheduler for the multi-billion dollar expansion project at the
Motiva Refinery near Beaumont, Texas. Responsibilities included analysis
of system wide detailed schedule information, such as milestones,
critical paths, resource curves and mechanical completion dates, and
compiling this data into overall program level reports and schedules for
management review. Heavily involved in program wide schedule management
for procurement and subcontracts. Attended weekly and monthly meetings
to develop and implement strategies to meet project deadlines and improve
communications between all Joint Venture partners. Played an important
role in the migration of scheduling software from Primavera 3.1 to 5.0
(P5).

Duties included, but were not limited to, providing weekly and monthly
schedule updates and packages for various heavy industrial small capital
projects at various Lyondell facilities located in the eastern United
States. Corresponded with project management, engineering disciplines,
estimating, cost engineering, procurement, and the client on a regular
basis to forecast pertinent schedule information such as milestones,
critical paths, budget curves, resource curves, and mechanical completion
dates. Facilitated regularly scheduled interactive planning sessions to
