for the Health & Safety during the soil solidification and stabilization phase of a Superfund site
while providing daily reports of air monitoring activities to the Corps of Engineers. Provided
technical assistance during the operation of a RF (radio frequency) Soil Vapor Extraction System
at a U.S. Air Force Base. Responsibilities included collecting and maintaining accurate O&M
data and ensuring continuous operation of the RF system. Provided field support on various
projects at a U.S. Air Force Base, including groundwater monitoring well installation, soil
sampling, and video taping/inspection of industrial process sewers.

Provided local regulatory guidance in an effort to ensure industrial users of the City of Houston
sanitary sewer system were compliant with RCRA, CERCLA, hazardous waste management
rules and regulations, and all applicable sections of the City of Houston’s Industrial Waste
Ordinance and Pretreatment Program. Collected and preserved industrial wastewater samples
from industrial users and publicly-owned treatment works (POTWs) using automatic and manual
sampling techniques, and compiled monthly and annual reports of the activities of the City of
Houston Industrial Wastewater Section for the Public Works Director and the Environmental
Protection Agency.
