portfolio. Responsible for secondary/flexible packaging while functioning

as utility resource for glass, injection and extruded molded plastic

. Implemented vendor managed inventory processes for 70% or $200 million

of Arden's total annual spend on components.

. In 2009, supported secondary/flexible packaging requirements for 28 new

product introductions/programs all with abbreviated lead-times which

were delivered on-time and within or below budget objectives.

. Integrated and managed demands on secondary/flexible components on the

former Liz Claiborne Brands - 28 brands or $8 million in additional

spend without any additions to staff. Re-established the color ranges

and quality levels required on the folding cartons for these brands.

. Created and issued final/press color approvals and color range

tolerances on Arden's non-promotional secondary/flexible packaging.

Managed Arden's various global commodity purchases whose range of

associated responsibilities grew from $48 million in 1997 to $95 million in

2008/2009. Rationalized supplier base and identified and selected capable

that complied with company policies, processes and procedures.

Provided sourcing expertise to Arden's internal clients securing additional

negotiating leverage for Arden. Seamlessly integrated and leveraged
