PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
ELECTRONIC DATA SYSTEMS-HP (HP-EDS), DETROIT, MI APRIL 2005 - TILL DATE
Senior Performance Test Manager/Lead, Performance Requirement Analyst,
Global Testing Organization
A performance test manger/ lead of the Global Testing Organization, I
was responsible for helping client to define the scope, Allocating
resources, Managing offshore resources,Identiying project risks and
providing mitigation plans, Analyzing the performance requirements for
several applications, planning and implementation of capacity, stress and
load testing of large scale enterprise applications, leading and directing
functional test team to meet the schedule, providing new ideas to organize
the process. All aspects of performance/functional testing lifecycle,
covering from writing performance/functional test plans, defining
performance test scope, create schedule, capacity modeling, developing
test scripts, executing the test scenarios, analyzing results and
generating reports was part of my responsibility. Performance testing
requirements of web-based enterprise applications demanded a thorough
understanding of internet communication protocols, HTML document
constructs, Javascripts, Security constraints, in addition to the hardware
specifications, Application server configurations and other environmental
constraints for performing the scenarios. Architectural recommendations for
large scale applications to meet the performance requirements helped me
work closely with the development team and influence decisions that led to
improved customer satisfaction. Prior to taking the role of a performance
test manager, I did spend many years functional testing arena
leading/managing the testing of desktop and web-based applications. This
has helped me present myself as an all-round quality assurance/control
specialist capable of adding extensive value to any testing organization.
