Introduction:
Being a recent graduate from Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College in
the Computer Networking Technology Program, equipped with the skills and
knowledge necessary to successfully install, maintain, and troubleshoot
network hardware and computer Systems. Competent with a wide variety of
knowledge and skills ranging from Servers, Switches, Routers, Desktop and
Laptop Computer repair and servicing.
During an internship with the DOT USA program as a Network Technician,
accomplishments were to be able to lead a project in refining and
streamlining the network that was in existence at the YMCA of the Gulf
Coast located in Ocean Springs, Mississippi. During this project several
accomplishments were made including correcting the physical structure of
the switches and how they were connected thus reducing downtime if a
switch were to fail and the successful configuration and connection of an
off site server located at their day care facility. Among these successes
were many other ranging from running new Category 6 cable and simple
desktop maintenance and fresh installs/configuration of the Windows
Operating system.
