Planned/executed engineering group and manufacturing associate training and

transferred sustaining support to local engineering Groups. Acted as SPOC

new releases of the Shop Floor Control System using System Development

Lifecycle - SDLC tool.

. Created factory reporting systems using data collected from Shop Floor

Control System to allow factory engineers and managers to access real

time reports on key factory metrics. Reduced time spent on manual data

collection (~ 30 minutes per manager/engineer per day).

. Launched pilot program in Houston, TX and deployed reporting system at 11

manufacturing sites. Interfaced with sites on monthly basis, monitoring

. Decreased operating costs $100,000/year by launching single system to

control shop floor in 11 factories to eliminate SW licenses and reduce

support staff, including database administrators and Unix experts.

. Developed configure to order system configuration (CTO), enabling Compaq

to build units configured by customer with reduced finished goods

inventory. Piloted system in Scotland, reducing inventory from 10 to 3

days and increasing cash flow by $5M.

. Acted as chairman of WW Manufacturing Execution System, interfacing with

all Mfg Sites in a monthly basis to monitor new releases, status

implementation, monitor system uptime and define enhancements
