Mid-America Development Partners, before declaring bankruptcy, was a
commercial retail development company that managed a $250 million
private development fund. After graduate school, I was hired to
assist the company in lease/tenant negotiations, site acquisition,
and the restructuring of their capital structure.
Renegotiated lease terms with companies such as Best Buy, Starbucks,
Trader Joe's, and Panera Bread, amongst others national retailers.
Prepared monthly financial and status reports
Created a second fund memorandum for the company in order to issue
new partnership interest

The two-year M.S. in Real Estate program integrates real-world
application and practice-based immersion in all phases of real estate
- from initiating and analyzing to negotiating, financing, and

2008 MADISON HARBOR CAPITAL Graduate Internship Program
Madison Harbor Capital is a private equity fund-of-funds,
representing over $6 billion in managed capital. I was selected as
one of two interns from a pool of over 100 graduate candidates to
assist portfolio managers in retail fund research and analysis.
Analyzed national retail fund strategies and presented
recommendations to Madison Harbor's investment committee
Met directly with outside retail fund managers to discuss their
investment, return, and annual growth strategies
Audited and revised Madison Harbor's investment model
Quantified fund risk profiles and how market changes could effects
overall risk profiles and portfolio returns

percent hold the CCIM designation.
