Experience

Xerox Corporation, Webster, NY

Senior Level Mechanical - Electrical Engineering Technician

4/1994-12/2008

Microfluidic MEMS (Micro-Electrical-Mechanical Systems)

1/2000-12/2008

Developed and implemented strategies for the characterization, performance

evaluation and feasibility study of microfluidic MEMS technology to serve

as low cost alternatives to devices in existing products. Resulted with

the contribution towards intellectual property generation with several US

patents filed. Solved numerous lifetime limiting problems resulting in

further advancement of the technology.

Photoreceptor Belt Module Subsystems for Xerox Color Document Production

Technology 1996-2000

Performed motion quality analysis and performance evaluation of working

test fixtures of closed loop controlled photoreceptor subsystems. This

included the selection and verification of specialty sensors providing

closed loop control feedback. Participated with intellectual property

generation with four US patents filed resulting with increased machine up

time, improved performance and customer satisfaction.

Paper Handling Technology

1994-1996

Developed and implemented testing strategies for paper feeding subsystems.

Developed data acquisition software using National Instruments Labview and

selected digital / analog sensors providing feedback. Used statistical

process control methods as a tool for evaluating performance of paper

feeding runs. Supported on schedule technology delivery which ultimately

launched into a product.

Laboratory Safety Coordinator (MEMS Laboratory)

1/2000-12/2008

Coordinated and supervised annual OSHA compliance inspections. Assisted

personnel to specific laboratory safety needs. Received formalized

training for OSHA safety compliance. Resulted in 100% OSHA compliance and

zero injury for nine consecutive years.

Xerox Corporation (Contract), Webster New Toner Plant, Webster, NY

Manufacturing Process Support and Project Engineer

1991- 1993

Duties included twenty-four hour engineering support of capital equipment

used for toner manufacture. Directed engineering projects aimed at

improvement of equipment performance resulting with the increase of

material throughputs and reduction of operating and raw material cost.

Solved quality control issues using statistical process control tools.

Performed production supervisory duties, which included the management of

the entire toner production work force.

Education

. Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering Technology, Gannon University, Erie

PA.
