My mission and objective is to use the footprint of the organization
as it relates to accuracy, efficiency and consistency to aide in transition
of institutional knowledge to technical knowledge. At the same time being
creative in nature and thinking outside of the traditional methods of
business. By using these practices we will grow customer service,
business, co-workers and myself. Utilizing the companies mission and my
objectives we will produce quality results.
As a Project Manager of the Georgia World Congress Center(GWCC), I
report directly to the Director of Engineering. This is done through
assigned projects to include but not limited to Capitol Improvement
Projects, facility maintenance, convention center expansion projects,
cataloguing blueprints and operations & maintenance manuals. In addition,
I also facilitate contracts, project schedules, and ensure proper project
staffing. This is done with minimal impacts to our business, events and
trade shows.
Daily Duties and Responsibilities as Project Manager for the GWCCA (2008 to
Present):
. Administered and supervised capitol improvement projects as it relates to
contract budgets, facility expansion, and renovation projects.
. Served as a liaison between the GWCCA and architects, contractors,
engineers and other persons or agencies in the distraction of projects.
. Reported to the Director of Engineering and authority board on the daily,
weekly and monthly basis as required for briefings.
. Coordinated and facilitate pre-construction and progress meetings with
contractors, sub-contractors, vendors and/or potential vendors.
. Enforced terms and conditions of awarded contracts.
. Prepared briefing documentation for Director, Assistant Director of
Engineering and myself that was dispersed in various meetings as it
relates to project status, budgets, campus upgrades and bright ideas.
. I assumed various other tasks, duties and responsibilities affiliated
with my role as project management on the daily basis not listed above.
United States Army Corps of Engineers (1992 to 2006):
. Served as Project Manager and construction representative with the Corps
. Design and review of various projects at the Pentagon. Some projects
includes the window replacement, elevators & escalators, door hardware,
renovation of the Pentagon Athletic club, Tri care Clinic and Tri-City
Waste Water Treatment Plant.
. Managed and maintained oversight of $200 million dollar budget, project
cost analysis, contract negotiations, scheduling, and planning of any
change order reviews.
. Maintained and conducted various liaison meetings with OSHA, Historical
committee, contractors, and various other Government Agencies.
. Monitorizaqtion of Environment Protection Agency (EPA) grants relative to
water treatment and Housing of Urban Development inspections for the
District of Columbia, Maryland, and Northern Virginia Metropolitan area.

Red Deck Parking Garage Stairs Repairs and Replacement, Red Deck
Elevator Cab Renovations, Refurbish Authority Boardroom Kitchen, Starbucks
Security Gate Replacement, Lower Median repairs, Various fencing projects,
Starbucks Patio renovation, Main Entrance Visitor Center Redesign, Various
Furniture procurements and Cooling Tower Replacement to name a few.
