Description:
CCSAS project was formed based on child support reform legislation which
required the department of child support services (DCSS) to work in
collaboration with the franchise tax board(FTB) and the federal Office of
Child Support Enforcement to build a single statewide child support
automation system.
Role at Project:
Testing the web based GUI of Child Support application. This involved

Previous Roles at Project:
-Forms Development: Forms is one of the most important part of the CCSAS
application. One example of use of forms is when a Custodial Parent submits
a Child Support Enforcement for his/her children; forms are sent to the Non
Custodial Parent for an action on the case. I was involved in the creation
of new forms, modifications of existing forms and fixing defects. Fixing
defects on forms involves template fixes on the front end as well as back
end code change. I worked on defects which involve changing the Java code
as well as modifying SQL queries. The tools used for working on forms are
Adobe Lifecycle Designer 7.1 and Adobe Output Designer 5.5.
-Regression Testing: Performed Automated Testing using QUALITY CENTER and
QUICK TEST PROFESSIONAL. To ensure that the application is consistent and
free from errors a set of automated scripts are run every week. My role
involved running the scripts, modifying them if necessary and if there is
some error in application then submitting a defect through Quality Center.
-Supporting other teams: Providing support to other members on System
Testing team, assisting Performance Testing team as required

Description:
Configurable Adapter (CA) is a software solution developed at Network
Programs (India) Ltd. It is a project in telecommunications with thrust on
network traffic supervision and quality monitoring solutions. This software
is involved in processing of CDRs (Call Detailed Records), a CDR describes
characteristics of a call like its begin time, end time, duration etc.
Configurable Adapter is software that takes CDR (Call Detailed Record) from
other vendor probes (data collecting units) as input and outputs CDR in a
format as required by client applications. An adapter that is highly
configurable with respect to input/output formats. It allows the user to
define new CDR types and change existing ones as well as define and change
the rules that govern conversions from one type into another.
Client: Steleus, France.
Role:
. Transferring the output CDRs formed on the local machine to a remote
machine using Java Sockets.
. Enhanced the existing User Interface developed in Java Swings by
adding new controls and functionality to it.
. Designed the Housekeeping GUI. Housekeeping is a feature in
Configurable Adaptor that cleans the system after regular intervals by
deleting the output CDR files formed on the local machine.
Housekeeping GUI is a user interface which allows the user to
configure and modify this feature according to his requirement.
. Development of Housekeeping GUI in JSP- Struts. This involved the
design and development of Web pages using JSP and CSS, linking the web
pages together through Struts and adding the required functionality.

Description:
Dictionary Import Export Tool is a project in telecommunications. The
project started with observing and interpreting a group of CDR's (Call
Detailed Records) to build a dictionary file. This dictionary file serves
as the "metadata". It then converts the dictionary file to standard oracle
format to populate data into the database. This feature is called as Import
Tool. The software can fetch the data from database and build the original
dictionary file. This feature is called as Export Tool.

Developed CMPs (Container Managed Persistence EJBs) to store data into the
database.
