Description:

SFA

The SFA application is for the Sales Representatives of Consumer Healthcare

department of GSK (CH-GSK). The sales reps capture the orders and maintains

the customer visit information in their devices like Laptops, Notebook etc,

The information from these devices is interfaced into the CAS application

when connected to the server and the assignments(Saved as Cognos cubes) to

be performed by the rep are copied to that devices. A data mart is built

based on the CAS database and the Cognos cubes are created.

The ETL is performed by Datastage and reporting on customer data is done on

Cognos.

Roles & Responsibilities:

> Created and maintained Data Stage jobs to perform ETL process in

Designer to implement the existing logic for different markets.

> Defined the process for reject handling.

> Worked extensively on different types of stages like Datasets, Remove

duplicates, Funnel, Join, Aggregator, filter, Sort, join, lookup,

Transformer, Aggregator, merge, Change Capture etc...

> Used Data Stage Director to schedule, validate, run and monitor the

Description:

The aim of the (CDR) project is to provide the user with

an application for publishing the data (Pharmaceutical) in the web for the

users to have information of various drugs. This project consists of 4

modules. The Project is carried out in Validated Environment.

1) CDR-CTSSII

2) CDR-CHCSLU

3) CDR-DTS

The data to CTSSII (Datastage7.5 application) is taken from grip database

and excel sheets uploaded by CHCSLU (VB .net application) .The output (XML

files) from CTSSII is taken and given to a 3rd party (Veritas), through DTS

(UNIX shell scripts).

Roles & Responsibilities:

> Studying the business requirement document, interacting with the

client and prepare system design document.

> Developed ETL jobs.

> To perform the aggregation operations on the extracted input data and

filtering the data Using Built in Active Stages like AGGREGATOR, SORT

STAGE and TRANSFORMER

> Developed various parallel jobs using ODBC, lookup, Funnel, Sort,
