I graduated from Clemson University in May 2010 with a Bachelor of Science

Degree in Civil Engineering and an emphasis in Construction/Construction

Materials. Throughout my career at Clemson University I have earned an

overall 3.1 GPA and a senior year average of 3.5 while acquiring useful

experiences as a research assistant to the Civil Engineering Department. I

completed two graduate classes in an effort to further my education while

achieving an undergraduate degree. The Properties of Asphalt Concrete and

Material Testing and Specifications graduate classes are providing me with

great experience and knowledge in my area of emphasis as well as

familiarity with many asphalt testing and design procedures including

Superpave and Marshall Mix design, DSR testing, RAP and RAS design, and the

application and testing of Asphalt Rubber mixes. I also completed further

education in transportation engineering for my technical requirements while

attaining my degree.

During my time as a student I have successfully aided in the leadership of

several research projects within the Civil Engineering department in an

effort to gain experience and knowledge from my professors and to

contribute to the program that has provided me with this opportunity.

Specific projects include but are not limited to: Harnessing Roadway

Energy, Pervious Concrete Research, Nationwide DOT Specifications Research,

Porous Asphalt Application, Use of Processed Animal Waste Matter in Asphalt

Binder, OGFC Research, and Pavement Evaluation Protocol

Analysis/Development.

My computer experience includes engineering specific programs such as

AutoCAD 2008, RAM Steel V8i, and other construction design software for

classroom and job force applications. I am also comfortable in using the

commonly used Office Suite programs including Word, Excel, Access, and

PowerPoint. I believe that all of the skills that I have acquired have

prepared me to work effectively in your company. I am confident that my

training in the processes of design, analysis, testing, and construction-
