Recent Accomplishments
Original Documentation Development
Planned and authored a comprehensive documentation suite for the Allegro
Global Route Environment - a new cutting-edge electronics design module
from Cadence Design Systems. This documentation was well received by
Cadence customers and was instrumental in helping them achieve early
success with the product.
Cadence Topic-based Documentation Subcommittee
Volunteered and developed a plan to move my division from book-based to
topic-based documentation. Proposed and developed a working prototype of a
topic-based model using FrameMaker. This model was presented to and
embraced by the Cadence publications community.

2009
. Lead writer for Allegro System Interconnect products (used by
Electrical Designers and Engineers to automatically route highly
constrained printed circuit board designs).
. Supporting writer for Allegro High Speed products (used by Electrical
Engineers to model, simulate, and rule constrain the circuitry of
printed circuit board designs).
. Cadence Quality Award for Documentation and Communication presented to
my team in 2001
for responding to customer issues and significantly improving the
Allegro documentation set.
. Wrote documentation project plans for each software release and posted
them on the Technical Publications SharePoint site for review by the
product team.
. Reviewed engineering functional specifications, interviewed software
engineers, and tested new features using beta software to ensure
accuracy in the final documentation deliverables.
. Maintained and updated existing documentation per Cadence publications
standards to support Allegro end-users (printed circuit board
Designers and Electrical Engineers).
