Objectives: An entry level position that will provide me with a foundation
upon which I can build a career in the entertainment industry such as a
broadcast journalist, script writer, or any other role in theater or
television production..
Skills Profile: My primary interest is coincidental with my career goal.
I am very much interested in all aspects of the entertainment industry from
performance through to technical production and production management. In
my career at high school, I was fortunate to be able to take part in both
performance and videography. My experiences since leaving high school and
throughout the intervening years at university, I have been involved in
performance (acting and song composition). My experiences at university
has convinced me that I have the have the artistic, communication and
interpersonal skills that I believe are necessary to make a successful
career in this challenging and complex industry.

While at Montclair I canvassed votes and was elected for one semester to
serve on the student government association (SGA). The SGA is a student
body that collects and appropriates funds for many varied student led
activities..
Work Experience:
o Present: Volunteer at Jersey Shore Medical Center (Part Time 15 hours
per week) - Assist Professional Clinical Psychologists taking notes in
group therapy sessions. Develop creative tasks for patients. I have
progressed in this position such that I am now allowed to complete
preliminary patient psychological assessments.
o 2007 to Present: Avis Car Rental (Part Time 20 hours per week):
Customer Service Representative
o 2000: (Summer) - Monmouth Community Bank - Customer service and
customer profile data entry.
o 2001-2007 - A variety of part-time jobs during education recesses in
construction and food delivery
Activities:
> 2009 - Short assignment during school semester undertaking promotional
work (mostly via computer based social networks) for artists on tour
for WNJM Radio 98.9FM Manahawkin, NJ.
> 2005: Played both lead and base guitar in a band "Almost There" I
performed during one local radio broadcast on the X Radio (88.9FM)
Monmouth University Radio, New Jersey. While I am no longer a member
of this band (due to my commitments at university) I have recently
undertaken much of the marketing and promotion of this band, which has
produced some recent success.
> May 2007: Performed to a Saturday daytime audience at the "Cavern
Club" birthplace of the Beatles in Mathew Street, Liverpool, UK.
> May 2007 and May 2008: Played lead and bass guitar for improvised
bands made up of musicians from the Liverpool Rock and Roll Society,
Huyton, Liverpool UK.. This improvised band played to a large audience
consisting of people affiliated to the British Conservative Political
Party.
> May 2007 - Played a Quarryman's guitar at "Mendips" (the childhood
home of John Lennon) Menlove Avenue, Liverpool, England, UK.
