SMS 2003, IIS, MS Sharepoint, MS Application Center
2000, MS Virtual Server 2005, Citrix Presentation
Server 4.5, Citrix Metaframe XP and other server
software titles.
Continuously redefining rules on the MOM 2005 server
to streamline managing the Windows Environment.
Created custom MOM management packs to monitor
applications that did not have a management pack
created by the vendor. Creating hundreds of pages of
documentation, consolidating white papers and

PowerEdge server to our EMC Clarion SAN.
To meet a corporate mandate, rebuilt the SMS server
so it could be joined to the corporate enterprise
management framework. I was able to get them to
agree to allow our server to be a primary child SMS
server. Corporate gets to dictate their priorities
with SMS, package deployment, hardware & software
inventory, while myself and my teammates retain a
good amount of control of our SMS server for our SMS
goals in supporting our environment. We were the
first EDS client account to join EMF with this
compromise.

Originally used GFI Languard NSS and GFI SELM, which
was migrated to Microsoft MOM & finally Microsoft
SCOM for my part of the report.
Installed and configured MS Project server as an
alternate solution to a project.
Worked with purchasing to fix software licensing
issues so our counts are now accurate, complete and
legal.
Mentored less experienced System Administrators and
Helpdesk staff members during various projects. For
example, creating and performing presentations on
Active Directory, Group Polices and SMS.

Network Administrator
Supported a 120 user network in Indianapolis with
six satellite offices, five domestic and one in
London England. The local network had six Win NT 4
servers, one Terminal server and 2 Windows 2000
servers. The corporate end users are almost
primarily all Windows 95 with a few Win98, WinNt4
workstation and Win2k professional. Three of the
satellite offices are small networks with at least
one NT 4 server; the other three are SOHO offices.
All remote users connect back to the corporate
office in Indianapolis via Citrix. I manage one
subordinate, the Tier-One Support Technician,
formally called PC Support Technician.
Successful roll out of Microsoft SMS 2.0, Norton
Anti-virus Corporate Edition 7.0 and Norton
Anti-Virus 5.0 over the network to all of the
computers in the Indianapolis and satellite offices.
Worked with the IT Manager to plan, coordinate and
consolidate users from three to two floors in the
Indianapolis office. The entire network
infrastructure was changed and fiber was run between
both floors. All of the servers were moved from the
6th to the 2nd floor.
Replaced some older hubs with Cisco Catalyst 2924
switches during a build out of one of the floors.
The build out was so more users could work on that
floor.
Migrated Exchange 5.5 from one server to another
after it had outgrown its capacity. Then took the
old Exchange server and installed it as the SMS/SQL
server.
Took a new server, installed and migrated data so it
was the file server. Then I took the old file server
and installed it as the Exchange server. Then I
reinstalled the Exchange/IIS/Proxy server as the
IIS/Proxy server. All while I installed my first
Cisco Catalyst 2924 switch, to begin standardizing
the network infrastructure all on Cisco.
Worked with the IT Manager to plan and coordinate
